Holiday Calendar is the world’s largest platform for official and unofficial cultural holidays. The site helps millions of people discover holidays across every country and culture. They partnered with us to build a data driven PR program that could take advantage of the viral nature of holidays and generate media at national scale.

2. Running State Level Surveys
We then ran surveys that delivered results by state. These included:
- Most popular sodas by state for National Soda Day
- Most popular snack brands by state for National Snack Day
- Most popular ice cream flavors by state
- State level trends for food, habits, and seasonal celebrations
Local data gave every state its own headline, which created a multiplier effect for coverage.
3. Creating the Reports
We wrote clear and simple reports for each holiday and added graphics that made the findings easy to understand and easy to share. Each report was built for newsrooms, bloggers, and social content teams.
4. Pitching Local and National Media
We used state based results to pitch newsrooms in all 50 states. This created rapid local pickup and national follow through.
